As you can see (if you'd been here before)
it's been cleaned up a little.
The two pictures you see ahead of you are in my
favourite format - 2' 6" x 5'
The one to the right is a little different (for me).
I had been impressed watching my son scoot up cliffs
near the ocean.
(of course they weren't so precipitous);
I thought it might provide a nice theme for a painting
"meditation"
on young men and life.
Starting with a blank canvas, I painted in an enirely
light cadmium
yellow ground, and then worked over the top
in thalo blue, permanent madder deep, permanent blue-violet,
and black.
To your left, now is a bit more work:

The two lower paintings in the above picture are
under construction; the drawings are
life drawing sketches I happened like.
For those of you with good eyes,
the lower right painting is a self-portrait, with
my son.

Continuing to turn counter-clockwise;
more sketches and paintings I'm not sure
what to do with. The painting directly ahead is of
my partner & my son in the woods;
to the lower right is (directly above the terminal)
is
of the skaters hanging out
in the local skateboard/rollerblade pit.
Now facing the wall that would have been to your right
as you came in, are more sketches; the two coloured
figures were done in
in oil pastel, a medium I'm just learning about.
By now, I guess you are about ready to head
for the exit!
