A friend suggested I put a self portrait on my index page; but as that might put more than a few people off I've put several in their own little gallery.

These aren't formal portraits in any sense; they're  just relatively spontaneous studies done in 15 or twenty minutes, and then revised later (note the overdrawing & the scratched in erasures!). Visitors who know me know I have white hair, which I've taken certain liberties with so I wouldn't have to do heavy backgrounds....

The drawings are done on off-white Strathmore 80 lb. drawing paper using Staedtler flow point pens .
